EAE at Shanghai International Green Building and Energy Efficiency Week
EAE was invited to China making a speech at the Shanghai Green Building Council.

In his speech EAE Managing Director Ralf Pasker presented an overview about the European ETICS market and especially about the regulatory framework. The information about Europe‘s efforts to create a low-carbon and sustainable economy by improving - among others - the energy efficiency of buildings was welcomed as China faces similar challenges. Therefore the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CABEE) and EAE signed a liaison contract.

Meeting ChinaThe China Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CABEE) is a national first-class association under MOHURD, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, upon approval by the State Council and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Taking the building energy efficiency as the center, CABEE conducts relevant survey, research , consulting , advocacy and training, and is committed to organize the development and application of building energy-saving technologies, as well as to bridge between the government and the industry & companies. For more information please visit their website www.cabee.org.

China and the European Union have one thing in common: both are seeking for solutions how to

improve the energy efficiency and how to achieve environment-friendly economies. And both are aware that minimising the energy consumption of their building stock will be a leverage to achieve these objectives. This is why CABEE is highly interested exchanging their points of view and experience with EAE. This was agreed after Ralf Paskers‘s speech at the Shanghai Green Building Council by signing the Corpora􀆟on Intend between both leading associations.

The interest in frequent contacts was confirmed also during the following joint dinner. Representatives from the State Ministry for Building and Construction and from the respective authorities of severeal provinces participated the dinner and expressed their interest in staying in contact.
